In the tradition of Hatha yoga, Ganesha is known as the remover of obstacles. I would like for my students, while they practice yoga, to have the opportunity to learn as well as over-come difficulties in their lives. Ganesha teaches students to remove the mental, spiritual and physical obstacles in their lives. For any questions, please email: mweiche@schools.nyc.gov

The goddess that i would want to be would be Durga.
I think Durga is absolutely incredible. There is so much meaning to her name. Durga means INVINCIBLE. Du is the devils of purety , sufferings, famine, & evil habits. R reffers to diseases and GA is the destroyer of sins, injustice, irreligion, cruelty and laziness. SO basically Durga is the fighter of all Bad. She rides a lion and incarnates on earth to destroy a demon.
Durga has so much meaning to her name and is a very strong and good hearted goddess :) so that's why i would choose this goddess.

I choose the god, Hanuman. He is the symbol of selfless service and courage. I feel that that is how I am. I like to help people and i'm strong for other people when they cant be for themselves.

I Choose Shiva as my favorite god.
1) He is the god of destruction, destroyer of the world...that cool, lol.
2) He represents the death card in the hindu Tarot deck and death is the second card that's assigned to gemini
3) the concept that if he does the dance of bliss with pravati it destroys the world is cool.
4) he is a video game character in the final fantasy series
